The Arjo Maxi Sky 1000 is a bariatric ceiling hoist with a lifting capacity of 455 kg (over 70 stone). It can be installed using ceiling mounted straight tracks or a semi-permanent gantry system. A single carer can perform bariatric transfers of patients using the supplied hand control with no manual lifting involved in a safe, comfortable and dignified manner.
The Maxi Sky 1000 is simple to operate. Our engineers can regulate the lifting speed and spreader bar height from the programmable handset. Several safety features, including a brake, lowering system and pull-cord stopping device safeguard the patient in the event of an emergency.
The Maxi Sky is always ready to use and the clip on charging station can be place anywhere on the track. The electronic soft start/stop ensures the hoist can be stopped immediately with no delays or overrun which is vital for the comfort of patients and carers alike.
A comprehensive range of bariatric loop or clip slings can be attached to the four point spreader bar.
